Lingering Potion of Poison

In Minecraft, a Lingering Potion of Poison is a special potion that can be thrown to create a cloud of poison. When a player or mob walks through this cloud, they will be inflicted with the Poison effect for 11 seconds. This potion is crafted by combining a Splash Potion of Poison with Dragon's Breath in a brewing stand. Lingering potions are unique because instead of applying an effect directly, they create a persistent cloud of poison in an area. The cloud starts with a radius of 3 blocks, shrinking to 0 over 30 seconds. Players or mobs that enter the cloud will be poisoned after the first second. This effect can be applied consecutively if they remain within the cloud. Lingering Potions of Poison can also be used to craft arrows tipped with poison. In Creative Mode, you can find the Lingering Potion of Poison in your inventory. Also, you can obtain Lingering Potions of Poison using the /give command in different versions of Minecraft; the specific command will vary depending on the game version.
