Lingering Potions of Water Breathing are primarily used to extend underwater exploration time or to provide a water breathing effect to multiple players. It is crafted in a brewing stand using a Splash Potion of Water Breathing and Dragon's Breath. The duration of the effect depends on the Splash Potion used, with a 3-minute splash potion resulting in a 45-second lingering effect, and an 8-minute splash potion resulting in a 2-minute lingering effect. This potion is also used for crafting arrows tipped with water breathing.
