Lingering Potion of Weakness

The Lingering Potion of Weakness is a special potion in Minecraft that creates a persistent Weakness effect. Unlike regular potions, lingering potions do not apply their effect directly. Instead, when thrown, they create a cloud of the potion, and any player or mob that enters this cloud will be affected by the Weakness effect. This potion is very useful in combat for reducing enemy attack damage. The Lingering Potion of Weakness is made by combining a Splash Potion of Weakness with Dragon's Breath, a rare resource obtained by collecting the Ender Dragon's breath using glass bottles during its attacks. Creating a lingering potion requires first turning a normal potion into a splash potion, then adding Dragon's Breath to it in a brewing stand. Lingering potions have a shorter duration than normal potions, but the effects can stack and they can also be used to create tipped arrows for ranged attacks. In creative mode, the Lingering Potion of Weakness can be found directly in the inventory.
