Nether Brick

Nether Bricks are a type of block in Minecraft, primarily used to form nether fortresses. These bricks do not generate naturally and must be crafted by smelting netherrack to obtain nether brick items, which are then used to craft the nether brick blocks. There are several decorative variants of nether bricks, including red nether bricks, cracked nether bricks, and chiseled nether bricks, none of which generate naturally. Nether bricks are non-flammable and immune to ghast fireballs, making them suitable shelter material in the Nether. Players can mine nether bricks with any pickaxe; however, they will drop nothing if mined without a pickaxe. Aside from being used as building material, nether bricks can be used to produce bass drum sounds when placed under note blocks. Methods to obtain and use nether bricks may vary slightly between different versions of the game, with some versions having piglins barter nether bricks for gold ingots.
