In Minecraft, the Ocelot Spawn Egg is an item used to directly spawn ocelots. This spawn egg cannot be crafted and is only available in the Creative inventory or through commands. The Ocelot Spawn Egg has a yellowish-orange color with dark brown spots. To use a spawn egg, simply click on any surface, and an ocelot will spawn instantly. In Survival mode, though obtainable via cheats or commands, it is consumed upon use. The Ocelot Spawn Egg can change the type of mob spawned from a spawner, and is also used to spawn baby ocelots if used on an adult ocelot of the same type. You can also rename spawn eggs on an anvil, causing the spawned mob to show that name above its head, or have special effects such as naming a rabbit spawn egg “Toast” for a special skin or naming it “Dinnerbone” or “Grumm” to make it upside down. Ocelots are passive mobs, typically found in jungle biomes. They attack chickens and baby turtles, and avoid players. Ocelots can be given raw cod or raw salmon to gain their trust, after which they won't flee from the player and can also breed.
