Phantom Membrane

The Phantom Membrane is an item in Minecraft, added in the 1.13 update, "The Update Aquatic." It is primarily obtained by killing Phantoms, which are flying mobs that spawn at night and attack players who haven't slept for several days. The phantom membrane has two main uses: first, to repair Elytra. Using a phantom membrane on an anvil restores the Elytra's durability by 25% per membrane while preserving enchantments. Second, to brew slow-falling potions, phantom membranes can be combined with an awkward potion at a brewing stand to make a slow falling potion. In addition to killing phantoms, a player's tamed cat has a small chance (3.22%) of giving a phantom membrane as a morning gift when they wake up. Weapons with the looting enchantment can increase the drop amount of phantom membranes, with a maximum of 4. Phantom membranes are stackable in the game, with a maximum stack size of 64.
