Pitcher Pod

In Minecraft, the Pitcher Pod is an ancient bulbous seed that has a chance to be dropped by Sniffers when they finish digging in dirt-like blocks. It cannot be crafted using a crafting table or furnace; instead, it needs to be found and gathered by players. The Pitcher Pod is the seed for pitcher plants, which can be grown on farmland. After three growth stages, it will transform into a pitcher plant. Pitcher plants are mainly used for decoration, but they can also be crafted into two cyan dyes. Additionally, Pitcher Pods can be used to breed chickens, reduce the growth duration of chicks by 10%, and tame parrots. To obtain a Pitcher Pod, players must first find and hatch Sniffer eggs and then allow the Sniffers to dig in specific blocks like dirt and grass blocks. It's important to note that Sniffers cannot dig for Pitcher Pods on mycelium. Although Pitcher Pods are unearthed by Sniffers, they cannot be used to feed them, as Sniffers only eat torchflower seeds.
