The Polar Bear Spawn Egg is an item in Minecraft used to directly spawn a polar bear. This spawn egg is not obtainable in Survival mode and can only be acquired through the Creative inventory or by using commands. In Creative mode, players can use the 'pick block' function on an existing polar bear to obtain its respective spawn egg. To use it, players simply click on any surface (top, bottom, or side) to spawn a polar bear at that location. If clicked on a polar bear that can breed, it will spawn a baby polar bear. Polar Bear Spawn Eggs can also be used on monster spawners to change the type of mob that spawns. Additionally, renaming a spawn egg on an anvil causes the spawned polar bear to display a custom name above its head, which is also displayed in death messages. Renaming it to 'Dinnerbone' or 'Grumm' will cause the polar bear to spawn upside down. Using a spawn egg in Survival mode consumes the item, but it is not consumed in Creative mode. Polar bears are neutral mobs that typically spawn in snowy biomes. Adult polar bears become hostile when they are near baby polar bears or when they are attacked.
