Original Title:Purple Candle

Languages:

  • Chinese: 紫色蜡烛
  • English: Purple Candle
The Purple Candle is a dyeable decorative light source item in Minecraft, introduced in the Caves & Cliffs Update: Part I. Players can craft a Purple Candle by combining an undyed candle with purple dye. Candles themselves can be crafted using string and honeycomb, or found in certain structures like ancient cities or trail ruins. Purple candles can be placed individually or stacked up to four of the same color within one block space, with each additional candle increasing its light output. Lighting a candle requires flint and steel, or can be done using fire charges or any flaming projectile. In Bedrock Edition, a burning mob or a weapon with Fire Aspect enchantment can also light a candle. Candles can be extinguished with water. Additionally, a candle can be placed on a cake, creating a festive candle cake. Purple candles provide a unique and warm light source and can be used for decoration. It is important to note that once a candle has been dyed, it cannot be changed to a different color.
