Raw Gold
In Minecraft, Raw Gold is an unprocessed metal resource obtained by mining gold ore. Mining gold ore or deepslate gold ore with an iron pickaxe or higher will drop 1 unit of raw gold. If the pickaxe is enchanted with Fortune, it can drop an additional unit per level of Fortune, up to a maximum of 4. The primary use of raw gold is to smelt it into gold ingots. Players can also craft 9 raw gold into a block of raw gold for compact storage. Blocks of raw gold cannot be smelted back into gold ingots. Piglins are attracted to raw gold. They will run toward any raw gold on the ground, and inspect it for 6 to 8 seconds before putting it in their inventory. Raw gold cannot be used for bartering. In Minecraft, gold ore mainly generates in the Overworld, with varying distribution height and quantity, especially abundant in the badlands biome. The item ID for raw gold is 'minecraft:raw_gold'.
