Snowball

A snowball is a throwable item in Minecraft, primarily used for combat and entertainment. While snowballs themselves do not damage most mobs, they do cause knockback, which can be used to disrupt enemies or inflict small damage on Blazes. Snowballs are mainly obtained by digging up snow blocks or snow layers using a shovel. A snow block yields 4 snowballs, and snow layers yield 1-8 snowballs per layer, depending on the version and the snow layer thickness. Snowballs can also be obtained by killing snow golems. Snowballs can also be crafted into snow blocks or used to trigger certain mechanisms. The behavior of snowballs varies slightly between different versions of Minecraft; for example, in Bedrock Edition, players will receive knockback when hit by a snowball, while they will not in Java Edition. Snowballs can also be modified with command blocks to have special effects, such as explosions, adding more fun to the game.
