Spider Spawn Egg

Languages:

  • English: Spider Spawn Egg
The spider spawn egg is an item in Minecraft used to directly spawn spiders. It cannot be crafted and is only obtainable in Creative mode or through commands. In Creative mode, players can use the 'pick block' function to obtain the spawn egg of an existing spider or find it directly in the Creative inventory. The spider spawn egg appears as a dark brown egg with red spots. To use it, right-click on any surface (top, bottom, or side) and a spider will spawn at that location. Unlike normal eggs, spawn eggs are not thrown; they must be used within the player's reach. While spawn eggs can be used in Survival mode, they are not obtainable and are consumed upon use. Spiders spawned with spawn eggs in Peaceful mode are immediately created and deleted. The spider spawn egg can also be used to change the mob spawned by monster spawners. Renaming a spawn egg on an anvil will cause the spawned spider to display that name above its head, and this name will also appear in the death message when the spider kills a player. Certain specific names, like 'Dinnerbone' or 'Grumm', will make the spider appear upside down. Spiders have a 1% chance of spawning as a spider jockey with a skeleton riding on them. Spiders attack players in dark areas with a light level of 11 or less, are able to climb walls, and are immune to poison.
