Splash Potion of Decay

In Minecraft, the Splash Potion of Decay is a throwable potion that inflicts the Wither effect on players or mobs it hits. The Wither effect causes a gradual decrease in health and, unlike poison, can eventually lead to death. While the potion of decay itself cannot be brewed within the game, it can be obtained in creative mode or via commands. Splash Potions of Decay are created by adding gunpowder to a regular potion. Moreover, the Potion of Decay exists in Bedrock Edition but needs mods for Java Edition. This potion can be effectively used to attack enemies or apply negative status effects on other creatures. In Bedrock Edition, you can use the following command to get a Splash Potion of Decay: /give @s minecraft:splash_potion{Potion:"minecraft:decay"}. This potion applies the Wither II effect for 30 seconds.
