Splash Potion of Poison

A Splash Potion of Poison is a throwable potion in Minecraft that applies the poison effect to entities it hits. This potion is made by adding gunpowder to a regular potion of poison. When thrown, the potion explodes on impact, causing a poison effect on nearby creatures. The poison effect damages targets each second until it wears off. A Splash Potion of Poison lasts for 45 seconds in Java Edition and 33 seconds in Bedrock Edition. Besides throwing, splash potions can also be loaded into dispensers for redstone-controlled attacks. Additionally, while a splash water bottle cannot deal damage, it can extinguish fires and turn dirt into mud. In Creative mode, the Splash Potion of Poison can be found in the inventory, while it needs to be brewed in Survival mode. The ingredients required to craft it include: water bottles, nether wart, spider eye, and gunpowder. Using the splash potion on a witch will grant the player the 'Taste of Your Own Medicine' achievement.
