Splash Potion of Swiftness

In Minecraft, the Splash Potion of Swiftness is a throwable potion that grants increased movement speed to nearby players or mobs. This potion is created by combining a regular Potion of Swiftness with gunpowder at a brewing stand. The Potion of Swiftness itself is made using a water bottle, nether wart, and sugar. When thrown, the splash potion explodes, applying the speed boost effect to targets within its radius. The duration of this effect depends on the potion's version and the target's distance from the explosion center. In Java Edition, the effect lasts the same amount of time as a regular potion of swiftness, while in Bedrock Edition, the duration is shorter. Different variants of the Splash Potion of Swiftness exist, including the regular version (3 minutes/2 minutes 15 seconds), a version with extended duration made using redstone dust (8 minutes/6 minutes), and a version with enhanced speed made using glowstone dust (Swiftness II). The swiftness effect allows players to move faster, useful for fleeing hostile mobs or quickly exploring maps.
