Stray Spawn Egg

Original Title:Stray Spawn Egg

Languages:

  • Chinese: 流浪者刷怪蛋
  • English: Stray Spawn Egg
The Stray Spawn Egg is an item in Minecraft used to directly spawn a Stray. Strays are a variant of skeletons that spawn in snowy biomes and fire arrows with the Slowness effect. Stray spawn eggs can only be obtained in Creative mode or through commands. In Creative mode, players can use "pick block" on an existing Stray to obtain its spawn egg. The spawn eggs are also available in the Creative inventory. To use it, press use on any surface (top, bottom, or side) with the egg and a Stray will spawn. Unlike normal eggs, spawn eggs are not thrown; the player must be within normal range of the block to use them. In Java Edition, Strays do not spawn naturally from monster spawners. In Bedrock Edition, there is a 1% chance that spiders and cave spiders can spawn as spider jockeys with an 80% chance of being a stray spider jockey or a stray cave spider jockey. The Stray Spawn Egg is light gray with silver spots. Players can rename the spawn egg on an anvil, and the spawned Stray will have that name shown above its head; the name is also displayed in death messages if the Stray kills a player. Using the command `/give @p minecraft:stray_spawn_egg` can be used to obtain a Stray spawn egg in creative mode.
