In Minecraft, sugar is an important food and brewing ingredient, primarily obtained by crafting sugarcane. Players can create sugar by placing sugarcane in a crafting table. Sugar is used to make cakes, pumpkin pies, and is a crucial ingredient for making fermented spider eyes and potions of swiftness. Sugar can also be fed to horses to heal them, speed up their growth, and increase taming probability. Furthermore, sugar can be placed in a composter, with a 50% chance to raise the compost level.
