In Minecraft, the Turtle Spawn Egg is a special item used to directly spawn turtles. It cannot be crafted in survival mode and can only be found in the creative inventory or obtained through commands. When using a spawn egg, simply click use on any surface to spawn a turtle. Unlike normal eggs, spawn eggs are not thrown. The Turtle Spawn Egg is white with greenish-blue spots, mirroring the colors of the turtle itself. In Java Edition, the spawn egg has its own tab in the creative inventory, while in Bedrock Edition, it's located at the bottom of the Nature tab. A turtle spawned using a spawn egg immediately plays its ambient sound. Additionally, if you use a Turtle Spawn Egg on an existing turtle, a baby turtle will spawn. You can rename the spawn egg on an anvil, and the spawned turtle will display the name you set above its head. Spawn eggs can also be used to change the mob that spawns from a spawner, although fish spawn eggs only work if the spawner is underwater. In survival mode, although spawn eggs can spawn creatures, they are consumed upon use. The Turtle Spawn Egg is a convenient tool in the game, allowing you to quickly create turtles or baby turtles.
