Uncraftable Splash Potion

In Minecraft, the Uncraftable Splash Potion is a potion with no effect that is unobtainable through regular gameplay. It can be obtained via commands or as a placeholder when a potion has invalid or missing potion effect tags. It also exists in regular potion and lingering potion forms, as well as for tipped arrows. This potion exists in the Java Edition and cannot be obtained in survival mode. Players can obtain it using the command "/give @s minecraft:splash_potion{Potion:\"minecraft:empty\"}". It is also used as a placeholder when potion effect tags are missing, commonly for developer testing or debugging. Unlike normal splash potions, this potion does not apply any status effects when thrown. It can be created by adding gunpowder to a normal uncraftable potion and can be transformed into a lingering potion with dragon's breath. Due to its unique nature, it is mostly used in technical gameplay and custom servers.
