Villager Spawn Egg

Original Title:Villager Spawn Egg

Languages:

  • Chinese: 村民刷怪蛋
  • English: Villager Spawn Egg
The Villager Spawn Egg is an item in Minecraft used to spawn villagers directly. It cannot be crafted and can only be obtained in Creative mode through the inventory or by using commands. The Villager Spawn Egg has a brown color with light brown spots. When used, it spawns a villager when right-clicked on any surface. While villagers can be spawned with spawn eggs in Survival mode, spawn eggs are not obtainable in Survival without using cheats. Furthermore, the Villager Spawn Egg can be used to change the mob type spawned by a monster spawner. If a Villager Spawn Egg is used near an adult villager, a baby villager will spawn, with the profession of that villager being randomly selected. The Villager Spawn Egg can be renamed on an anvil, which will cause the spawned villager to display that name above its head; this name also appears in death messages when the villager kills a player. Renaming the spawn egg to "Toast" will spawn a rabbit with a hidden skin. Naming it "Dinnerbone" or "Grumm" will cause the spawned mob to appear upside down. Additionally, renaming a Vindicator to "Johnny" will cause it to be hostile to all mobs except for other Illagers. Renaming a sheep to "jeb_" will make its wool cycle through colors. The ID for the villager spawn egg is `minecraft:villager_spawn_egg`.
