Agent
The Agent in Minecraft is a special interactive passive mob exclusive to Minecraft Education and Bedrock Edition. Its uniqueness lies in its ability to be controlled through programming, helping players learn code. When players connect to a WebSocket server, the Agent can perform various tasks, such as planting, harvesting, mining, chopping trees, and building. It has a 27-slot inventory that can be managed by programming or directly through an in-game GUI. Players can program the Agent by dragging and dropping commands and structural components, associating them with custom slash commands. In Bedrock Edition worlds not connected to a WebSocket server, the Agent typically lacks AI but can still store items given by the player and teleport between dimensions with them. While it can be spawned via commands, it is invisible when its spawn egg is used in-game. Furthermore, the Agent can push pressure plates, interact with buttons, levers, and is invulnerable to attacks, even from wardens. In Minecraft Education, the Agent is often used with Code Connection for Minecraft or Code Builder and is programmed using a visual programming language. Overall, the Agent is a powerful tool in Minecraft, helping players learn programming and execute complex tasks.
