Bee

In Minecraft, bees are neutral flying mobs that live in bee nests and beehives. Bees primarily pollinate flowers and, upon doing so, carry honey back to their homes. When a bee nest or beehive is full, players can harvest honeycombs with shears or honey bottles using glass bottles. Bees will swarm and attack players if provoked, either by being attacked or having their hive broken or harvested without precautions. Naturally generated bee nests typically contain three bees. Bees venture up to 22 blocks from their nest to find flowers for pollination, or to attack enemies. They gather pollen from various flowers and pollinate crops as they fly over them, accelerating their growth. When a bee returns to its hive with pollen, the honey level is increased. Once the honey level reaches 5, honey or honeycombs can be harvested. Bees become angered if attacked, swarming and poisoning players before dying. Bees can be bred by offering them flowers. Bees are also affected by mods such as Productive Bees, which introduces various new bees and hives.
