Cat
Cats are tamable, passive mobs in Minecraft, typically found in villages and swamp huts. They can be tamed and used to repel creepers and phantoms. In villages, cat spawning is related to the number of beds claimed by villagers, with one cat spawning for every four beds, up to a maximum of five cats. Swamp huts will always generate with one black cat. Cats have a variety of appearances, including tabby, black, and white, with one skin modeled after Jellie, the cat of YouTuber GoodTimesWithScar. Taming cats requires feeding them raw cod or salmon. Once tamed, cats will follow the player and can be commanded to sit or stand. Tamed cats also bring gifts to players, such as feathers, string, and rotten flesh. They will also sit on chests, beds, and furnaces. Cats can sense invisible players and avoid dangerous falls. Additionally, cats will chase rabbits and baby turtles, and hiss at phantoms. They are loyal companions to players and offer practical assistance in the game.
