In Minecraft, fireballs are explosive projectiles that come in two main forms: large fireballs launched by Ghasts and small fireballs launched by Blazes or dispensers. Ghast fireballs have a straight trajectory unaffected by gravity, and upon explosion, they deal damage and set nearby blocks on fire. Players can deflect these fireballs, even redirecting them to inflict significant damage on Ghasts. Small fireballs, shot by Blazes or dispensers, don't explode but ignite blocks they hit and damage unprotected entities. Besides these vanilla fireballs, there are also special fireballs launched by the Ender Dragon, which upon explosion create dragon's breath that can be collected by players. These fireballs have diverse uses in the game such as combat, destruction, lighting, and crafting. Players can also customize their properties like explosion power, velocity, and trajectory using commands and data tags.
