Guardian

In Minecraft, the Guardian is a hostile aquatic mob that primarily spawns around ocean monuments. They resemble pufferfish and have an eye that always stares at the player or squids. Guardians attack with a laser beam, dealing damage to players, and also inflict retaliatory damage when players attack them in melee. They move quickly in water but flop and struggle on land. Guardians are challenging mobs in Minecraft, and players need to use strategies to defeat them. Guardians drop prismarine shards, prismarine crystals, and occasionally raw fish or experience. A stronger variant, called the Elder Guardian, has increased attack power and additional abilities and spawns in specific areas of the ocean monuments. Additionally, another variant with a darker appearance exists in Minecraft Dungeons.
