Illusioner

Original Title:Illusioner

  • Chinese: 幻术师
  • English: Illusioner
The Illusioner is an unused hostile mob in Minecraft, classified as an illager. It was first introduced in Java Edition 1.12 but does not spawn naturally in the game. It cannot be obtained via spawn eggs in Creative mode and can only be summoned using the `/summon illusioner` command. The Illusioner wields a bow and uses spells, notable for its ability to create illusions and cast blindness on players. Its attacks occur in two phases. In the first phase, it shoots arrows and blinds the player, while the second phase involves the Illusioner becoming invisible and creating multiple, non-damagable illusions while the real one continues its assault. These illusions confuse the player, and only the real Illusioner can be harmed. The Illusioner moves quickly and maintains a distance from players. When defeated by a player or a tamed wolf, it has a chance to drop its bow and experience points. As an illager, the Illusioner may occasionally appear as a raid captain and drop an ominous banner. It has been considered for inclusion in raid events, though this has not been implemented.
