Llama Spit

Original Title:Llama Spit

Languages:

  • Chinese: 羊驼唾沫
  • English: Llama Spit
In Minecraft, Llama spit is a projectile produced by llamas, dealing a small amount of damage. This spit has unique mechanics in the game; despite being a projectile, when a player is killed by llama spit, the death message shows as "was slain by llama/trader llama." However, in Bedrock Edition, the death message is "was spitballed by llama/trader llama." When a llama's spit accidentally hits a neutral or hostile mob (except goats), the mob retaliates and attacks that llama. Llama spit deals 1 damage. Interestingly, in Bedrock Edition, players can deflect llama spit by hitting it, adding a strategic element to combat. In Java Edition, llama spit cannot pass through any blocks, including non-solid blocks (e.g., signs, open fence gates, and sugar cane), and even water. While the spitting animation shows the trajectory, the spit entity that deals damage terminates on the non-solid block. Llama spit can be blocked by a shield. Overall, llama spit is a unique and intriguing mechanic in Minecraft, with its properties varying based on game version.
