Pig

In Minecraft, the pig is a common passive mob typically found in grassy biomes. They serve as an important early-game food source, dropping raw pork chops that can be cooked to restore more hunger. Adult pigs can be ridden by players using a saddle and controlled with a carrot on a stick. Additionally, pigs will follow players holding carrots, potatoes, or beetroots. In the latest game versions, pigs now have three variants: temperate, cold, and warm, which spawn in different biomes. Temperate pigs are pink, cold pigs are beige, and warm pigs are brown. These variants enhance the diversity of biomes. Aside from being a food source, pigs have other uses in the game; for example, they transform into zombified piglins when struck by lightning and appear in various forms in skin packs and spin-off games.
