Piglin Brute

The Piglin Brute is a stronger, more aggressive variant of the Piglin found in Minecraft, first added in Java Edition 1.16.2 and Bedrock Edition 1.16.20. They spawn in bastion remnants, guarding chests. Unlike regular Piglins, Piglin Brutes do not barter, retreat, or get distracted by gold. They always wield a golden axe and charge at the player on sight, even if the player is wearing gold armor. Piglin Brutes have dark attire, gold accessories, and a scar over one eye. They have no baby variant and do not pick up equipment or armor from the ground, although they can be equipped via commands or dispensers. Piglin Brutes will attack players, wither skeletons, and withers. They are not scared of soul fire or their zombified counterparts. In the Overworld or the End, Piglin Brutes will transform into a zombified piglin after 15 seconds, with a 10-second nausea effect that does not impact their health. When killed by a player or tamed wolf, they have a small chance of dropping their golden axe, and drop 20 experience points.
