Polar Bear

Polar bears are neutral mobs in Minecraft, primarily found in icy biomes. Adult polar bears are generally neutral towards players but become aggressive when they have cubs nearby. Cubs are always passive. Polar bears spawn on grass or ice in snowy plains, ice spikes, frozen ocean, and deep frozen ocean biomes. In Bedrock Edition, they can also spawn in frozen rivers, snowy slopes, jagged peaks, and frozen peaks biomes. If two polar bears spawn together, one will always be a cub. Adult polar bears drop raw cod or raw salmon when killed. Notably, when a cub is attacked, nearby adult polar bears become hostile, unless the cub is killed in one hit. Polar bears swim as fast as players, making it difficult to escape them in the water. Polar bears cannot breed, and cub growth cannot be accelerated. They are also unaffected by powder snow's freezing damage. Polar bears also appear in Minecraft Dungeons, where they are also neutral and roam in missions, attacking when provoked.
