Salmon

Salmon are common passive aquatic mobs found in Minecraft, typically spawning in groups in oceans and rivers. Players can obtain raw salmon by killing them or by using a bucket to capture them and transfer them to other water bodies. Salmon come in three sizes: small, medium, and large, each with slightly different drops. In Java Edition, they drop raw salmon and bone meal, while in Bedrock Edition, small and medium salmon drop raw salmon and bones, and large salmon drop raw salmon and more bones. Additionally, salmon will drop cooked salmon if killed while on fire. Raw salmon can be used to feed cats, dolphins, and to tame cats. Salmon in Minecraft cannot be bred, they only spawn naturally. They struggle and die on land. They can swim upstream, going up waterfalls of 4-5 blocks. Salmon can also be obtained through fishing.
