Skeleton
In Minecraft, the Skeleton is a common hostile mob known for its ranged attacks using a bow and arrow. They typically spawn in dimly lit areas, such as the surface at night and dark caves. Skeletons are undead mobs, which causes them to burn in sunlight and seek shade or water for protection. They chase players, baby turtles, and iron golems, trying to stay within firing range. The accuracy of a skeleton's attacks varies depending on the game difficulty, and they possess an infinite supply of arrows and bow durability. Besides the standard skeleton, there are several variants, including the Stray, which spawns in snowy biomes and fires arrows of slowness, and the Wither Skeleton, found in Nether fortresses and wielding a stone sword that inflicts the wither effect. Spider Jockeys, where skeletons ride spiders, and Skeleton Horsemen, riding skeleton horses, are also part of the game. Skeleton horse traps, triggered by lightning, spawn skeleton horsemen on skeletal steeds. Upon death, Skeletons drop bones, arrows, and occasionally bows. Players can reduce a Skeleton's detection range by wearing a Skeleton skull, and skeletons have the ability to pick up items, prioritizing weapons and armor.
