Vex

Vexes are hostile, flying mobs in Minecraft summoned by evokers. They are small, blue-grey, ghost-like creatures with thick eyebrows and white eyes. Vexes wield iron swords and can phase through walls, making them difficult to block. When evokers are threatened, they raise their arms and emit smoke to summon three vexes at a time. Vexes primarily attack players, villagers, and iron golems, glowing red and lunging at their target when attacking. Vexes do not spawn naturally and are only summoned by evokers. They attack any mob commanded by their summoning evoker and become hostile towards anything that attacks them. While vexes can pass through walls, they are slowed down by honey blocks. Vexes summoned by evokers take damage and eventually die after a period of time, whereas vexes spawned via spawn eggs or commands do not. Vexes also appear in Minecraft Dungeons, with slight visual differences, such as dark cracks on their bodies.
