Vindicator

Vindicators are hostile illagers in Minecraft, wielding iron axes. They primarily spawn in woodland mansions and during raids. Vindicators sprint towards their targets and attack with their axes, posing a threat to players and villagers. On Normal and Hard difficulties, they sometimes spawn with enchanted iron axes. In woodland mansions, they appear in groups, while during raids, their numbers increase with each wave. A variant called "Johnny" will attack almost every mob except other illagers. Vindicators drop emeralds and iron axes as loot. There are some differences between Minecraft versions regarding their spawning, behavior, and loot. For example, in Bedrock Edition, they do not despawn even on Peaceful difficulty but become non-hostile. In Java Edition, they can break doors during raids and celebrate the raid's success with other illagers.
