  • English: Bonus Chest
In Minecraft, the Bonus Chest is an optional feature that can be enabled when creating a new world. When activated, a chest containing starting items spawns near the player's spawn point, aiding in early survival and resource gathering. The chest's contents are randomized and typically include basic tools, blocks, and food. While primarily intended to assist new players, it also benefits experienced players by saving them time in locating initial resources. The Bonus Chest always appears near the player's spawn point, accompanied by up to four torches. It's important to note that the Bonus Chest is unavailable in Hardcore mode, and only one chest generates per world. To enable the Bonus Chest, you must set the "Bonus Chest" option to ON in the "More World Options" when creating a new world. The contents of the Bonus Chest vary slightly between the Java and Bedrock editions, with the Bedrock edition including a wider variety of items.
