Fluids
In Minecraft, "fluids" refer to blocks that can flow and spread, primarily including water and lava. These fluids play an important role in the game, not only forming natural landscapes like rivers and waterfalls but also serving various purposes such as resource acquisition and trap creation. Water can be used for growing crops and brewing potions, while lava can be used as fuel and trap material. Besides water and lava, there are also substances with fluid properties in the game, such as potions, dyed water, milk, and honey, but these cannot be placed as fluid blocks. The flow of fluids is restricted by game mechanics. For instance, water spreads out in all directions on flat ground forming a diamond shape, while lava spreads slower than water. Fluids are also affected by terrain, preferring to flow downwards to form waterfalls. When water and lava come into contact, they can create stone, cobblestone, or obsidian. Although milk is considered a technical fluid in the game, it cannot flow or be placed freely like water and lava. Fluids are an important part of Minecraft, affecting many aspects of the game.
