Liquids

Original Title:Liquids

Languages:

  • Chinese: 液体
  • English: Liquids
In Minecraft, liquids are blocks that can flow and spread. Currently, there are primarily two types of liquids in the game: water and lava. Milk is technically a liquid but is contained in a bucket and cannot flow or spread. Liquid properties include being able to be placed as source blocks, collected with buckets or bottles, but not directly picked up. When placed in open terrain, liquids flow and become a source for the flow unless fully confined by other blocks. Flowing water and lava exert pressure on entities, pushing them in the direction of flow. Items dropped into flowing liquid are carried until they reach the maximum flow or are obstructed. Additionally, liquid interactions with other blocks can produce different results, such as cobblestone or obsidian when water and lava mix. Liquids have a depth value; source blocks are 0, with flow increasing in depth until reaching the maximum. In Minecraft, liquids are vital elements that offer a range of possibilities for exploration and creativity.
