Mineshaft

Languages:

  • Chinese: 废弃矿井
  • English: Mineshaft
In Minecraft, mineshafts are generated structures found underground in the Overworld. They typically consist of interconnected 3x3 tunnels with incomplete rail lines, wooden platforms, and support structures. Cobwebs and minecarts with chests are also common. Mineshafts are the only place where cave spider spawners generate. A unique variant of mineshafts made of dark oak wood can generate on the surface in badlands biomes, with more complete rails. These structures add exploration and reward players with resources and loot, including ores, food, torches, rail components, and other useful items. However, mineshafts are also dangerous, containing common mobs like zombies, skeletons, and creepers, as well as venomous cave spiders. Exercise caution and be prepared with the appropriate tools and weapons when exploring.
