Original Title:Nether Fossil

Languages:

  • Chinese: 下界化石
  • English: Nether Fossil
Nether fossils are structures that naturally generate in the Soul Sand Valleys biome of Minecraft. They resemble the skeletal remains of large creatures and are composed of 5 to 27 bone blocks. Unlike Overworld fossils, Nether fossils do not have reduced structural integrity and are not replaced by coal or diamond ore. The structure files for these fossils are stored in the game files in NBT format. There are 14 different variations of Nether fossils, ranging in size from simple rib-like structures to more complex ribcage structures. These fossils often generate on small floating islands within Soul Sand Valleys. Mining Nether fossils yields bone blocks, which can be broken down into bone meal and bones for crafting various items. Nether fossils are a unique feature of the Nether, providing players with additional resources and exploration opportunities.
