Overworld

The Overworld is the primary dimension in Minecraft where players begin their game. It is the only dimension that is created when a new world is generated and is the dimension with the most biomes, blocks, and mobs. Players can explore various terrains such as forests, mountains, and deserts, and construct various structures within the Overworld. It is also the only dimension with a day-night cycle, where there is sunlight during the day and moonlight at night. Players can explore and build during the day and must face the threat of hostile mobs at night. The Overworld contains many naturally generated structures such as villages, dungeons, and mineshafts. It is the core of the game, where players spend the majority of their time. Additionally, in Minecraft: Story Mode, there are different versions of the Overworld, which are the main settings of the story. In the Minecraft movie, the Overworld is an alternate dimension to Earth made of blocks.
