Original Title:Stronghold

Languages:

  • Chinese: 要塞
  • English: Stronghold
In Minecraft, strongholds are naturally generated underground structures and are the only places where end portals to the End dimension can be found. Strongholds are typically hidden underground and can be located by using Eyes of Ender. They are made of various materials such as stone bricks, mossy stone bricks, and cracked stone bricks, and contain rooms such as corridors, libraries, storerooms, and altars. The layout of strongholds is complex and varied; some areas may be overwritten by caves, mineshafts, or other structures, but the end portal is usually not replaced. In the Java Edition, strongholds are distributed in rings of different radii centered on the world's origin, with a total of 128. In the Bedrock Edition, strongholds are randomly distributed throughout the world, at least 160 blocks away from the world origin. Strongholds are crucial for players to access the End and defeat the Ender Dragon. Players usually need to prepare sufficient resources and use Eyes of Ender to locate the stronghold.
