Swamp huts, also known as witch huts, are rare generated structures in Minecraft, typically found in swamp biomes. These huts are built on stilts using spruce planks and oak log pillars, featuring a small, square design. Inside, you'll find a cauldron (which in Bedrock Edition may contain a random potion), a crafting table, and a flower pot with a red mushroom. Most notably, each swamp hut spawns a witch and a black cat upon world generation that do not naturally despawn. Witches can drop a variety of items and potions, making the huts a potential source for resources. A 7x7x9 area surrounding the hut is where the witch and cat can spawn. Although they can wander, they do not actively return to the hut. In Bedrock Edition, killed witches respawn at a specific location inside the hut. Players can build witch farms using swamp huts to collect abundant resources. These huts typically generate in the northwest corner of swamp biomes but do not appear in mangrove swamps.
