The Crimson Forest is a biome in the Nether dimension of Minecraft, known for its deep red color scheme and dense vegetation. The fog is dark red and blazing particles are seen floating. The ground is mostly covered with crimson nylium, with some netherrack and nether wart blocks generating on the surface. Vegetation includes fungi, crimson roots, huge crimson fungi, and weeping vines which hang from large fungi and nether wart blocks. The Crimson Forest is home to Piglins and Hoglins, which can be dangerous to unfamiliar travelers. Piglins are interested in gold, and become friendly if players display wealth. Hoglins dislike warped fungi and can be avoided using it. Besides creatures, Crimson Forests contain resources such as Nether gold ore, nether quartz ore, and ancient debris. Nether fortresses and bastion remnants can also be found in this biome.
