  • English: Desert
In Minecraft, the desert is an expansive biome characterized primarily by sand. The desert surface is entirely made of sand, with sandstone generated underneath. Deserts typically generate in areas with high erosion values, resulting in generally flat terrain with occasional hills. A hallmark of the desert is its sparse vegetation, limited to cacti and dead bushes. Although resources are scarce, structures such as villages, desert pyramids, desert wells, and fossils can be found within the desert biome. These structures provide valuable resources and shelter. A major challenge of the desert biome is the lack of basic resources, such as wood, requiring players to rely on resources brought from other biomes or the limited resources found within the desert. Additionally, husks, a variant of zombies that do not burn in the sun and inflict the hunger effect, spawn in the desert biome, making survival more challenging. Therefore, the desert is both a challenging and strategic biome in Minecraft.
