End Barrens

The End Barrens is a biome in Minecraft found in the outer islands of the End dimension, forming the steep cliffs at the edges of the End Highlands and End Midlands. Unlike the End Highlands and End Midlands, the End Barrens do not generate end cities or chorus trees. The primary feature of this biome is end stone, and it serves as a natural habitat for End mobs such as endermen and shulkers. In the Java Edition of Minecraft, the End Barrens are treated as a separate biome, while in Bedrock Edition, they are considered part of the broader End biome. Despite its relatively monotonous terrain, the End Barrens are an integral part of exploring the End. Notably, in the Pixelmon mod, certain Pokémon can spawn in the End Barrens. Overall, the End Barrens is a somewhat desolate and structurally sparse area of the End's outer islands, connecting other End biomes and adding more exploration and challenge to the game.
