End Highlands

The End Highlands is a biome found in the outer islands of the End dimension in Minecraft. Typically located at the hilltops of larger islands, it's characterized by mountainous terrain and lush chorus tree forests. The End Highlands is where end cities generate, castle-like structures harboring shulkers and valuable loot. It is also crucial for players seeking elytra, which are often found in end ships adjacent to end cities. Besides chorus trees, the End Highlands also contain end stone and are inhabited by hostile mobs like endermen and shulkers, making it an area of both exploration and challenge. Players usually reach this biome via End gateways after defeating the Ender Dragon, establishing it as a late-game location in Minecraft.
