Savanna

Original Title:Savanna

Languages:

  • Chinese: 热带草原
  • English: Savanna
In Minecraft, the savanna is a warm biome characterized by scattered acacia trees. It is typically bordered by deserts or badlands and has three different variants: the regular savanna, the savanna plateau, and the windswept savanna. The regular savanna is typically flat with vast amounts of grass, and villages and pillager outposts can generate here. The savanna plateau is similar to the regular savanna, but it generates on top of a plateau, and villages and pillager outposts do not generate here. It is also the only savanna sub-biome where llamas spawn naturally in Java Edition. The windswept savanna is a rare variant with rugged mountainous terrain, including steep mountains, cliffs, overhangs, floating islands, and waterfalls, making exploration and survival more challenging. Savannas are known for their arid climate, where it never rains and thus no lightning naturally strikes. Despite this, overcast skies and thunderstorms affect the sky's color and mob spawns.
