  • English: Snowy Taiga
The Snowy Taiga is a snow-covered biome in Minecraft characterized by its dense spruce forests, ferns, and snow-covered terrain. It typically generates adjacent to or within snowy plains and is home to snowy foxes and rabbits. This biome is distinguished by snowfall instead of rain, and any exposed water will freeze into ice. While most of the ground is covered in snow, the ground under the cover of trees is not. Within a Snowy Taiga, you will find snow-covered grass blocks, as well as vegetation such as dandelions and poppies. This biome is similar to a regular taiga, but it is colder and snowier. The Snowy Taiga is an important source of spruce wood, and it's ideal for building structures like igloos. In Bedrock Edition, Snowy Taigas can sometimes contain villages and pillager outposts, but not in Java Edition. The terrain in a Snowy Taiga can also be quite hilly, resulting in variations in elevation. Although hostile mobs commonly spawn here, you will also find peaceful creatures like snowy foxes and rabbits.
