Windswept Gravelly Hills

Original TitleWindswept Gravelly Hills

Languages:

  • Chinese: 风袭沙砾丘陵
  • English: Windswept Gravelly Hills
Windswept Gravelly Hills is a rare biome in Minecraft, a variant of the Windswept Hills. It typically generates in areas with high erosion and continentalness, featuring rugged terrain characterized by a large amount of gravel that replaces the top layers of stone, grass blocks, and dirt. Due to the gravel cover, trees are scarce, making the biome relatively barren and resource acquisition more challenging. Players need to be cautious when traversing this biome to avoid suffocation from collapsing gravel. This biome is often found in low humidity areas, adjacent to plains, snowy plains, and ice spikes biomes. The Windswept Gravelly Hills is also one of the rarest Overworld biomes, making up less than 0.1% of the Overworld on average. Despite its barren surface, emerald ore can still be found, and infested stone generates underground. Additionally, various hostile mobs and friendly animals can be encountered.
