  • English: Mining Fatigue
Mining Fatigue is a negative status effect in Minecraft that significantly reduces a player's mining and attack speed. This effect is typically inflicted by Elder Guardians found in ocean monuments. Mining Fatigue has several levels, with higher levels resulting in slower mining and attack speeds. By default, Elder Guardians inflict Mining Fatigue III, which drastically reduces mining speed to a fraction of its normal rate and also significantly slows down attack speed. Mining Fatigue severely hinders players’ exploration and combat abilities in environments like ocean monuments. Players can remove Mining Fatigue by drinking milk. Additionally, helping an axolotl defeat a hostile mob it is fighting will also remove the effect, and the axolotl will also grant the player Regeneration. It's important to note that while drinking milk can remove Mining Fatigue, it does not prevent Elder Guardians from reapplying the effect. Therefore, players should be well-prepared when exploring ocean monuments, bringing sufficient milk and, if possible, seeking assistance from axolotls.
